Fue construido en los astilleros de Okpo, Corea, 20 pisos y una capacidad de carga 11% mayor que el anterior buque m\u00e1s grande del mundo, pudiendo llevar hasta 2500 2500 contenedores de m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las principales caracter\u00edsticas de dise\u00f1o de la clase son sus dos motores de 32 megavatios (43000 caballos de vapor) es su ultra-larga carrera de los motores diesel de dos tiempos, que accionan dos h\u00e9lices a una velocidad de 22 nudos. M\u00e1s lento que el de sus predecesores, esta clase utiliza una estrategia conocida como navegaci\u00f3n lenta, con la que se espera reducir el consumo de combustible en un 37% y las emisiones de di\u00f3xido de carbono por contenedor en un 50%.<\/p>\n<p>Su nombre deriva de sus tres focos cuando fue dise\u00f1ado y sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s: Economy of scale, Energy efficient and Environmentally improved.<\/p>\n<p>Estos datos m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de ser interesantes nos confirman el porque la empresa Maersk es sin duda la que soporta en gran medida en comercio internacional, contando con la familia de buques m\u00e1s grandes del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maersk is the most important company in the shipping business, founded in 1904, currently has more than 500 container ships, which keep in transit much of the cargo that is handled annually around the world.
